I feel so stressed over my Pre nursing grades
Hi I am 19 years old in chaffey college, I’m majoring in nursing but currently doing my pre nursing classes,
There’s a strict one science retake rule and from what I’ve read and seen for the nursing program requirements it’s very competitive and difficult to get in. Most applicants have A and B grades
I’m finishing my second semester and my grades are not looking too great and I feel so discouraged and stressed, so I’d like to hear about other people’s transcripts/applications in California CCs for nursing
I got a A+ in ceramics
B in medical terminology
B+ in Chemisty
D in Spanish
D in stats
D in anatomy
This semester was really bad for me and I feel like my chances are over esp at chaffey college, I don’t have medical experience besides a Medical assistant course I took in highschool plus internship hours, I did not take the test to get certified though, but I do plan on going the LVN-RN route to strengthen my application and get healthcare experience, would this Ds also stop me from getting into a CC LVN program?
What would you recommend I do to try and improve my chances the best I can and is it still possible to get accepted at a California CC nursing program with this Ds I have, I figured I probably need to get A and B grades from now on but I really need to hear about other people’s experiences and if they were ever in the same situation as me and still got excepted into a nursing program
