Advice on whether to take in house job

I've been an agency recruiter for 5 years, and have been offered an in house role in a scale up tech company. I've been considering going in house for a while, for many reasons, but have struggled to find traction.

The role I've been offered is great comp, but the company culture sounds a little crazy. Late nights and early mornings to deal with other continents, only seeking hiring the best of the best, hiring managers who are a nightmare to work with. The recruitment team seem to work agency style with huge outbound numbers, rather than advertising and the employer brand is not incredible. Kind of sounds like agency work for less total comp. Additionally I was not blown away by the recruitment process or the people I met in the process.

I'm considering taking the role because it will kick off an in house career and pays well on base, and I can do it for as long as I last there. Maybe I'll love it and its not as crazy an environment as it sounds. Or maybe will be there a year and then be able to move

I'd be grateful for your thoughts and views on whether to take this, and whether it opens doors or looks bad to leave in a year.
