I have a flight going to La Paz.. 15 days later I have entry tickets to machu pichu and 17 days later a flight back home from cusco.

The plan originally was vaguely to do the Uyuni salt flats round trip from La Paz, visit the city then go to Copacabana then to Cusco & in Cusco to do the Salkantey trek unguided.

I'm a broke uni student w a friend and I've heard salkantay is so touristy and given there are places to stay on the way I was planning to book places and sort out the trekking myself- provided I can convince my friend to get fit

I'm less sure about the uyuni salt flats- should I book anything early, any specific company you guys recommend- I've heard the 3 day tours are worth it it'd be a little tight w the salkantey but seems doable to me

D1-2 arrive in la Paz, visit

D3-7 Uyuni Salt flat tour, back to La Paz then head straight to Copacabana

D10 - arrive in Cusco
D11-14 4 day salkantay
D15 - machu pichu
D16/17 Cusco & head home

this sounds pretty hardcore im realizing now that i have it all down- but I still want to do it- could I?
