Sleep paralysis and nightmare recurrence - can I prevent it somehow if it’s the same every time?

I have the same thing happen every time. I’m in a nightmare (that can vary) but the common theme is that I need to get away from a threatening person, but it’s just a normal person, usually no weapons, not visually scary, yet I know they’re a threat somehow. In the nightmare my head is heavy to the point it’s rolling around and my eyes can’t open (like when you’re trying not to fall asleep). The more I attempt to hold my head up and open my eyes, the worse it gets, and it runs in parallel with my sleep paralysis. My body is desperately trying to shake out of the frozen feeling I’m feeling in the nightmare, then when I open my eyes, the threatening person is standing over my bed, I try to shake my legs, I try to scream, and then shortly after the horrendous stuck feeling, I’m out of it. It’s the same every time, just with variances on who the person is. I know this is quite standard for sleep paralysis, but this is my first time posting, and I’m just so tired of it. It’s at the point now where I’m expecting it to happen every time I fall asleep. I’m not getting mystical, but what if there’s a way to control it or prevent it somehow if it’s the same each time? Any advice or experience with that?
