I got stuck in the mud and an officer gave me 2 tickets after the fact
I was driving home two days ago and it had been raining all day. I took an exit curve off the north way and my car lost traction, and I ended up getting stuck in the mud right off the ramp. No guardrails were hit, no other vehicles were around me to witness, and my car was fine. While I waited for a tow to come pull me out, an officer arrived and asked for my license and reg, and asked if I wanted to file an accident report. I said no because my car was fine and no one else was involved, and explained I was just waiting for a tow to get me out of the mud.
Well, the officer then issued two tickets, one for "moved from lane unsafely" and one for "speed not reasonable and prudent". By the time the officer had arrived, I had already been parked for 20 minutes while I waited for the tow truck. It seemed like the officer just happened to take the same exit and notice me on the side of the road. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do about this.
