Hey y’all! My roommate and I Just moved from apartments that had built in internet fees/provider already chosen for you and into a condo. Neither of us have had to get internet before, so we want to make an informed decision, would love any recommendations. We are both in school and she works a job that will require remote meetings with clients from time to time, so we want to make sure that we have reliable internet that won’t be causing us a bunch of problems but do want to stay affordable. I’ve heard a lot of stories about spectrum and my mom has had a not so great experience with them over the years. Not sure if that’s the case for most or if it may be better outside of single family homes. To be honest idk anything about internet/wifi or if experiences vary by area but we are in the highlands 😂 Lmk if you’ve had a particularly good time with your provider/plan! Open to anything in the area!
I need a trim and I am struggling to find anywhere that will just give me a blunt trim without needing to add a color service. I get my hair highlighted once a year, but my stylist charged $160 before tip for just a dry trim the last time I went to her and while I respect her time and effort, I cannot afford to do that every 8ish weeks. Anyone have somewhat affordable recommendations? I am just a little afraid of going to great clips and getting botched. Let me know! I am in the highlands area but don’t have a location preference.
Hey everyone! Are there any gluten free bakers in the area that y’all know of and think could make a cake similar to something like this? Only need one to feed about 20 for a bridal shower so it would be shorter. It would be for the twentieth… if I end up needing to make it myself, I will! So I guess i’m taking suggestions of bakers in the area to hire and if you don’t have one, gluten free cake home baking tips are greatly appreciated. I bake often, but my family is GF by choice (no celiac thank god) so I think I will be capable it comes to that. Hey everyone, wondering what the opinions are on our candidates for the upcoming mayoral election. I hadn’t paid much mind to it and want to make sure i’m making a solid choice, especially after seeing it’s a nonpartisan race now(i don’t dislike that or anything i just typically vote dem). Shameka seems like the right choice, only been reading up on the candidates for about an hour tho. Would love if anyone has more information on candidates and what they plan on doing for the city. I don’t want to vote for someone like greenberg again, I think he acts in his friend’s financial interests and just haven’t been happy with his leadership. Again, i’m leaning toward Shameka, but wondering who y’all are voting for and why!
