LNAT IN ONE WEEK PLEASE REVIEW MY ESSAY

My answer: Abortions should only be permitted in certain circumstances.

Abortion can be defined as the terminating a pregnancy. The debate about when it should and should not be allowed is a very prominent debate in our society; however, I personally believe that abortion should indeed only be permitted, by the government, in certain circumstances. In this essay I will cover some of these circumstances and establish why abortion should not be allowed outside of these circumstances.

Firstly, many individuals who are pro-abortion argue that limiting when a mother can abort her foetus goes against her freedom of choice and forcing the individual to give birth may give rise to the mother not caring for her child. This argument holds some weight, but it relies on the assumption that the individual did not choose to partake in sexual intercours.  If they did choose, are they being stripped of their freedom of choice and individual autonomy? The answer is that they are not. Pregnancy is a risk of sexual intercourse, and a consenting adult should be aware of this fact. If you willingly partake in an activity you are also consenting to the risk because of the idea that if you knew there was a risk and still accepted to take that risk you did in-fact consent to it. However, on the point that it may cause the mother to not raise the child happily and therefore increasing the odds of a negligent parent it can be argued that abortion should also be permitted in this case. Although, this is a logical argument it does not comprehend the idea that this is not a guarantee and that you are depriving a human of life based on an assumption that the mother may not want to raise the child. Furthermore, just because a mother does not want to raise a child it does not mean the father would also not want to, nor does it acknowledge the idea that a child can be put up for adoption in cases where the assumption becomes real.

On the other hand, in circumstances where it puts the life of the mother in danger to give birth I would argue it is logical to permit abortion. It is indeed, going against a principle I afore mentioned of the right of life of the foetus, but a mother is also a human. A potential mother has a family, friends, a job, and a community - aspects of life the foetus is yet to experience. It is unfortunate to sacrifice the foetus for the mother, but not doing so does not only affect the mother but everyone she was close with or knew. Although, the death of the foetus may make the immediate family feel great pain because of their loss, but many would still choose the mother over it due to the idea that a great connection already exists with the mother, but the foetus is yet to have any connections themselves. The government should allow this circumstance because of the established idea above.

Another circumstance where I think the government should permit abortion is when the foetus may develop or has developed a disability that will impair their whole life. Once again this does indeed go against the established idea that abortion is depriving a child of a life, but we need to consider whether or not the parent can sustain it and whether the child could enjoy or thrive in it. Disabled children, in general, often have a much worse quality-of-life than someone who is able and their upbringing requires more care and therefore more financial needs for the parents to provide for. Raising a normal child in itself is costly and that cost raises exponentially for  a disabled one. Unlike, a mother not wanting to raise a child properly or with care due to personal choice, in this case it is the idea that the parents physically cannot sustain to provide them with special education, care, or treatments. This combined with the idea that a disabled child would likely to be unable to do many things a normal child can their quality-of-life would be one that is unfulfilling. This would not only be unfair for the parents who may struggle financially but also the child who may suffer physical pain or psychological pain due to their disability and how others treat them.

In conclusion, although I did not cover all of the permitted circumstances, abortion is not something a mother can take whenever they want to. It should instead be permitted in circumstances of need rather than just a want. I RAN OUT OF SPACE FOR A PROPER CONCLUSION.

Please help decide if I should reschedule from the 5th to 12th - Applying cambridge!!!

My main issue isn't that I do bad on all passages, as a matter of fact I get 2/3 or 3/4 on most passages (not in order of the passage - I just do bad in a few passages in random location. However, I just don't get how I am so inconsistent, as it's not a stamina issue.

For example yesterday I done paper 1 from the official LNAT website and got only 23 but on 8/12 passages I was on track for 30 meaning I got 2/3 or 3/4 but on the other passages I make mistakes that I could have avoided. The same happened in Leslie Ho paper 4 - I got the same score and had the same issue of where 4 out of 12 passages I lost a lot of marks.

Should I reschedule my test and is there anything that goes wrong if you reschedule it twice?

If I were to take an extra week of I might be able to fix this issue that I have inconsistency and silly mistakes. However, I would not have many test left to do as mocks I only have 1 Lesli ho paper and 2 Ultimate LNAT guide mocks which are awful. I could do the online one again but I have seen the passages and kinda remember a lot of them so it wouldn't be fair and most times I get them wrong because of my memory tricking me into one answer.

Please help me my test is in 6 days!!!!!

Okay I just done an official LNAT paper 1 the thing is I skipped 1 passage because I remembered too much and I got 20/35. That sounds really bad and it is but the thing is I was getting 2/3 or 3/4 on 7/10 passages which how much you need to get on each passage respectively to get a 30- therefore the issue is not that I dont have the skill im just so inconsistent. - idk how to fix this in 6 days - I can push the test back by another 5 but idk if I should.

How can I fix this inconsistency?

Please help me understand my test is in a week

I just finished the Leslie Ho paper 4, I only got 23 but the issue isnt that I only got 23 but its that on 8 of the 12 passages I was on track to get 30 but then in 4 of them I just do really bad which is annoying because its not that I dont have the ability as clearly I wouldn't be on track for 8 of them to be getting 30 but why do my marks just drop on 4 of the 12 passages - by on track for 30 I mean getting 2/3 or 3/4

Lesli ho paper 2 - is it harder than paper 1 and how does it compare to official lNAT practice test?

I just done my paper and got 27 - the thing is after passage 10 I got distracted and before that I was on track to get a 30+ but not an excuse. Is this test as hard as paper 1 where I only got 19 due to silly mistakes/ bad pre test habit of doom scrolling and then being really anxious. IDK if I improved due to my reasoning or because of the test being that much easier than paper 1 from the same book.

How to fix silly mistakes or not getting answers that are obvious❗️

I just done the first Leslie Ho test and got 20 but looking back at the paper I should have and could have gotten at least 27 which is annoying because that is much better than 20. My test is 2 weeks on Monday and idk how I can fix this - how do I review my lost marks? and how badly does doom scrolling before the test affect you as I was really badly doom scrolling and was really anxious before the test to the point where my head was heavy as a massive rock though during the test that feeling did go away.

Note: my goal is 30+ for the actual test so I need advice urgently please.

Leslie how test 1 - urgent need of help‼️‼️‼️

I just got 20 on the first test but the thing is the mistakes I made are very silly and I should have gotten at least 27.

I’m not now going to think I’m working at 27 marks but how should I review the paper and actually execute my potential.

As I heard paper 1 in this book is harder than the rest and if u actually got 27 I would have been much happier.

My test is in 2 weeks and I want to get 30+ is this possible?

Please tell me the best way to revise (learn from my mistakes)

Also, how badly would doomscrolling before sitting a paper affect you? I doom-scrolled for like 2-3 hours before doing the paper and for the past week I have been really stressed over the LNAT because I went from getting a 30 on the Big Book of LNAT questions to getting a bad score on another tests (really bad but i think it was also because of stress)
