need pointers
So im a stay at home mom, and my husband is a business owner. It’s been slow but it’s picking back up. Unfortunately our golden boy, 3 years old, male, got into something and has a blockage. He is already at the vet being treated just to put that out there, but I already know we aren’t going to be able to pay the full amount up front. We have about 1k to our name, and I know this bill is going to be much heftier. They haven’t told me the price yet, or even what we’re doing next. Currently they’re keeping him overnight for fluids, and an xray with contrast to see what and where everything is going on. But I assume surgery will probably be in the picture. I’ve tried to apply to care credit and was denied. I have great credit but no income, but husband has pretty good income and zero established credit. (We’re young and we’ve always paid for big purchases in cash.) I’m not sure what to do next. Can anyone point me in the direction of loans/repayment options for this vet bill? Please no judgement nobody expects to fall on hard times.
