Should I join the LVN program at a technical school or go straight for ADN at a private school? I want to eventually become a nurse and RN is my end goal but I am still undecided on which route to go first. The technical college is cheap and a 10 month program, Pell grant would cover the whole thing. With the ADN, I would have to take out loans. I am currently a cna located in FL.

Hey everyone, I’ve been contemplating on my route of becoming a nurse. I started the ADN program this month, an accelerated program at a private school. I’m struggling financially, mom of 3, and I still have to work. Would it make sense to go for LPN instead? Trying to weigh my options but I feel so stuck and want to get out of this hole.

Has anyone had experience with this? Or advice?
