Is this an exaggerated and/or stupid take? What stops anyone from being profitable shorting every stock out there with low leverage following the belief that most businesses fail over a long enough timeframe. Educate me.

Please recommend me books or even articles that will help me understand in depth how fortune500 companies handle all their data effectively without slowing response times for their clients.

Seeing the whole industry blow up at the moment and can't help but wonder how much people actually make off of this. I am a small time entrepreneur with no pharmacy experience under my belt or any drug experience at all. Is it too late to get on to the train for someone like me?
