Constant misprinting and filament 'beading' help

I have been trying to print a simple garden stake for over a week now. I cannot get the print to get past the first layer without clumping or creating vertical strings that then end up snagging and destroying the print. I've tried:

a full machine calibration

rolling back firmware

updating software

freshly oiling and greasing the printer

wiping the plate with isopropyl

reslicing the file

sending it from a laptop, a remote computer, cell phone

changing out the filament

installing a brand new 0.4 nozzle right out of the plastic

Viking Gnome Garden Stake

The original file is from Makerworld, and all I've done is designate coloured sections so that I can print it using my AMS on the Bambu A1.

I cannot make it past the first initial layer without it stringing and creating catching lumps that eventually snag on the extruder and garbage the print.

I have some 72 hour prints for a personal project coming up, so I'd like to resolve these failures with this ~2 hour project sooner than later.
