I’m attempting to research the tools and procedures for cutting down or restarting my succulent, but without its ID I’m getting nowhere. Can anyone help identify this beauty?

I feel like celebrating this unlikely Heart plant first because it was originally one of those cheap single-leaf grocery store purchases that normally never grow. Surprisingly, it sprouted this year after five years of dormancy! So hooray! But there are spots … I can’t imagine root rot because it’s in this tiny pot with flow through and I let it get dry between waterings. Any ideas about the spots on this survivor?
