Ever since I received this diagnosis, I live in fear 24/7. I have persistent shortness of breath that never goes away. I did just about every test there exists to see what is actually causing it and how I can fix it. Unfortunately, I got no answers other than it's my heart. I'm only in my 40s and my quality of life is impacted severely. I wish it was common for HFpEF patients to undergo heart replacement surgery or I'd do that immediately.
