Located in Geelong, victoria.

I've just bought a house and I'm needing to replace my ridge caps (59) and about 10 broken tiles. Its a 50 year old roof and I have some leaks. I want to do it myself because I've been quoted $4000 by roof seal. It doesn't seem that bad but I don't mind some DIY.

Is it worth giving a crack or should I just get the work done? Any tips for roof tiling?
