I've read up so much on everyone's experience on Hpv and I understand that most people get it in their life time.

I have a high risk HPV I'm not sure what type, I haven't been sexually active for 3 years so I've probably had this for even longer. I'm starting to get really scared that I have cancer. I know that the chances of that are low I'm just scared about this procedure. I have to go about 40 minutes away for this and I don't currently have a car so I'm ubering it. I don't have anyone really to talk to about it either.

Any advice?

I'm 29 and have been sex free of my own choice for the past 3 years. I never in a million years thought anything would show up on my pap. But it did. High risk HPV. going for a Colposcopy in about a month. I'm devastated. I haven't been dating these last few years for personal reasons but I finally want to start dating and now with this I feel like it's a huge step back.
