Cone of disintegration: explanation included

Cone of disintegration: explanation included

None of you wannabe witches don't know how to appreciate the simple elegance of a well crafted spell. You love to overcomplicate your new spells when a few well placed strokes will do the trick.

Anyways: Cone of disintegration

The earth sigil works to turn powders into plants so it works enough for our purposes.

The signs of crushing turn anything in the radius into powder, however as we see from the chapter of coco inventing the powder to plant spell, it's a bit temporary.

Therefore we use the signs of dispersion to push the crushed powders away from each other, not allowing the target to reconstitute.

The signs of repetition play the effect multiple times.

The signs of column in the outer ring push this effect out into a column of disintegrating magic.

In order to avoid the casting medium being caught in the effect, we use the signs of levitation to start the column a bit away from the medium.

To add a little bit of extra oomph to the spell, I used two signs of dispersion on the outermost ring to turn the cylinder into a cone.

And yes, I drew this by hand unlike you website users because I'm a real witch.

Now go learn the value of simplified spell designs and make sure to stay hydrated.

Archmagus potato out.
