Rejected after 2 month audition process

I was in the midst of an audition process for a new series and made it to 5 callbacks and producer sessions and this took little over 2 months and was told unexpectedly that I didn’t make Final Cut when I thought I for sure had this one in the bag. How does one deal with rejection at that high of a level when you’re right there?
