Can I travel outside Belgium with Orange Card and German permanent residence permit?
Hi everyone,
as the question says, I want to travel to Greece with my family in the next months. We planed this trip to be after I get an answer for my F-card, so ideally I would get the F-card in June and then go on holidays. The problem is, there is no answer yet and I feel there won't be before the orange card expiration date (beginning of June). In this case I will have to extend the Orange Card which will leave me in a situation where I don't have a valid travel document by the time of the flight.
Another possibility is (but I am not sure about this), I have a valid permanent residence permit from Germany, would it be possible to travel with this?
I know Belgium will need an entry visa and also the orange card is not a valid ID document in case I run into an ID control, would it be possible to travel having an entry visa to enter Belgium and the German permit as a valid ID document?
Thanks in advance
*edit: forgot to add this, perhaps is relevant, I applied to the F-card to reunite with one of my kids, both are traveling and both under 3 years old
