Tips to enjoy the beach and snorkeling without getting sunburned

Hi everyone,

I've been in playa del carmen and cancun for a week, and planning to go to Isla Mujeres for three days. I really need some tips on how to not get extremely sunburnt beyond the try to stay in the shade and reapply 50 spf sunscreen. Ive been doing that, absolutely no tanning, even minimal sun exposure (or so I thought) and already my shoulders, chest, and back are very sunburnt and we're really hurting for 2 days. Now slightly starting to get better.

My particular concern with Isla Mujeres is my entire plan was to chill at playa norte and swim and do some snorkeling. Now im not sure if its possible, but I see people doing normally?

FYI im brown and ive only lived in south California, egypt, and Dubai.. so you'd think I can handle the sun but ive been so surprised on how its affecting me. Any tips on how I can enjoy these next 3 days would be helpful

Hi guys! Im so tired of having my blood sugar shoot up almost every time I eat something. I already reduced my insulin to carb ratio from 12 to 8.5. When I went to 8 I started getting lows throughout the day

Anyway, I would love some insights of why this might have happened? This is what I ate:

  1. One tortilla bread - label is 18 grams of carbs + a slice of parmesan cheese

  2. One protein drink - label is 4 grams of carbs

  3. A handful of cashews and macadamia nuts - i just rounded up and counted 6 grams of carbs for it

My biggest concern is that even if I was slightly off, why would it shoot up all the way to 14 mmol (252 mg/dl) and take all night to come back down. Its si frustrating and when I look at my day it seems like everytime I eat, I have to accept that my BG will shoot up. So tired of this tbh and super agitated at the moment. Please tell me how do you avoid such spikes?

I prebolus, I change my sites regularly (I used to use the extended fusion and felt that the last 2 days my BG is very stubborn, so its been around 2 weeks already where im now using the 3 day set), I weigh my food and I dont eat out most of the time
