I just wanted to follow up on a question I asked a couple weeks ago, I got some really good recommendations and want to try a couple of them but something came up and my free time at home will be basically zero for most of the summer. I wanted to get the boat ready so my parents could enjoy it though.
Just ordered a 1/4” thick piece of starboard and transferred the mounting holes. Got some different switches and a sealtite for the new foot controller thing. I’ve got a buddy with a laser that I might have etch the VIP logo and the switch names on the panel but for now I can tell which one is trimming the motor and which one turns on the aerator
Admittedly not the prettiest design but it is functional and disappears. Will have to get some pictures of everything installed but forgot yesterday.
Also attached a picture of the battery “skid” I made. The charger, breaker, and battery can all drop right into place and are removable if I need to access the wiring at the front of the boat. Rubber isolators on the bottom of the starboard.
