Dobermen personality’s
I work with dogs at a kennel daycare type that does training too, I have my favourite breed to work with and also my fav breeding want to I own.
Dobermans are my favourite breed to work with. I have my reasons as to why I could never own one but my dog I love them they are so smart but so incredibly stupid
we have one at work with a big scary name like Zeus just for him to be the scared of fifi the mini schnauzer for instance because she snapped at him for standing on her foot one time 6 months ago so continues to shake like a leaf every time
He once went ‘missing’ during clean up time at the end of shift he had jumped a fence into the play area to chase a butterfly just for him to get a rock in his paw pad and scream like a dishevelled banshee until I removed it
But he’s also the sweetest guy ever he is trusted with any dog and actually prefers puppies then big dogs or dogs his age cause he’s just a little guy and is a huge scaredy cat we consider him our babysitter because he gives very fair corrections to puppy’s when overstepping play boundaries. And his favourite dog there is a little Rottweiler puppy.
He also once stressed his owner out so much after destroying her whole spare room because he wasn’t allowed to sleep in her bedroom when her partner stayed round so she booked a holiday and he boarded with us over the weekend
