hello i’m an intl student from malaysia who recently got an offer at UNSW for electrical engineering. I was wondering what are my chances for the international scientia coursework scholarship (20k aud/full scholarship). my agent told me it’s super competitive and doesn’t have an amazing track record for malaysian students

stats
- 4A* in A Levels
- 8A*, 1A in IGCSE
- High achiever award in college
- member of student council organisation in college where I organised around 5 student led events
- member of programme & protocol team where I organised a flagship STEM event hosting over 200 students
- won a hackathon and got seed funding
- got a scholarship in college and in sec school due to academic merit

let me know what are my chances !

hello, as stated from the title i’m currently going through a dilemma. I’ve received offers from University of Manchester (in England) and University New South Wales (in Australia) for Electrical Engineering. I don’t plan to stay in a career for electrical engineering and would most likely pivot to tech.

My biggest dilemma is that I can’t seem to decide between the two as one of the biggest problem is the ability to find a job after.

I feel as through University of Manchester is known more internationally (despite its rankings being lower) but if I were to job hunt in the UK, I feel it would be really hard since there are many other better unis in the UK like cambridge, imperial etc.
But in Australia, the job hunt is also hard but UNSW would be the best engineering uni so I feel that I would have an edge.

My end goal would be to go to the US, which uni do you think would allow me to go there?
