So, I put my retainers back on Friday like the dentist told me but I woke up the next day with them full of blood so I decided to keep them off probably until Monday. Dentist won’t be open until tuesday. I’m just worried that my teeth will begin to shift the longer I don’t have them on. I’m on day 10 now since I had my wisdom teeth removed. I’m just waiting until Tuesday to call the dentist and go in to understand why I’m still bleeding. Just I guess I’m wondering if having my retainers off for this long is bad?

I had all of my wisdom teeth removed on a Thursday, kept my retainers on for Friday and Saturday, took them off for the next two days then put them back on Tuesday, until the dentist told me to keep them off until Thursday (a week I removed my wisdom teeth), so I put them back on Friday which I did bleed overnight, which leads me to writing this Reddit post.

So, I'm on day five after removing all of my wisdom teeth. The top left of my tooth is bleeding, a lot, I put a gauze on it, the bleeding has subsided but I don't know why it started bleeding. Does anyone know what could be the reason?

Hey, so I just got my wisdom teeth removed like all of them, on Thursday. However, I had gotten my retainers a little over a month ago after finishing my Invisalign treatment. So it is only been a month and a bit since I started wearing my retainers at night.

Now, I wore my retainers for two nights which were Thursday and Friday, a bad idea because they were stained with my blood. I cleaned them. So, I decided to keep them off tonight, is that okay to not wear my retainers for one or two nights?
