Vyvanse “time window”

Does anyone else notice that whether your day is good - in terms of executive functioning and getting shit done - largely depends on what the medication “catches” you doing…?
What I mean is, if my Vyvanse starts kicking in while I’m starting to study, it feels easier to study for the rest of the day. I don’t mean studying for hours straight with no interruptions, just that when I eventually stop, go do something else and then come back to it, there’s much less of a friction.
On the other hand if it starts coming into effect while I’m in bed, showering, cooking, talking to someone - doing literally anything other than cognitive demanding tasks - when I eventually go try to study or read something more dense it’s really hard, it feels like I missed the “time window”, the ship has sailed.
Before anyone asks - I’ve been on this medication for around 1 year and 8 months.
