VZN.1 - Steel vs Accra Comparison

I had a rep DF3 with an Accra shaft last season and it was awful! But given all the hype on this community about this particular putter drove me to give a rep another shot.

Purchased two LAB VZN.1 putters from the same highly rated seller on Temu and in this community. Honestly, I just wanted to compare the two shafts but to my surprise, there was more to compare. Also. I didn’t expect to receive two different head styles.

Disclaimer: these measurements are based off the putters received. Different head styles may result in different measurements.

Overall, the quality is beyond solid. Feels and looks like the real deal. Even the head cover had me second guessing.

The Accra shaft does feel lighter, as you can tell from the weight scale. I wouldn’t say it’s a wet noodle but theres certainly more stability in the steel. It has a more secure and balanced feel, especially during putting.

The Accra does measure a little longer length, same width but the face depth of the steel is bigger.

Ultimately, I decided to keep the steel, even though I wish the head length was long like the Accra. Overall, it just feels better, personally, and the thin lines started to grow on me over the dual racer style. I’ll be playing my first round later this afternoon and will provide an update.

And yes, they both pick up balls and don’t mind the socks.

Feel free to ask any other questions.

Update: played Columbia country club today. It’s definitely one of the hardest courses I’ve ever played. Greens were on ice but the putting was on point! Love the weight of the steel. Looking forward to more rounds.

Current setup is a stromung exhaust to AA track pipe/mid-pipe.

I was told by a e36 guru/friend that I would need to cut the mid-pipe (white line) to bolt up any long headers or to find headers with a mid-pipe front half track pipe style flange at the bottom.

Any insight?
