My work has corporate accounts for Chat and Claude. Interestingly Claude could perform a task in 4.6 that it couldn’t in 4.7 - anyone know why?

I fed it a large document with a bunch of questions about it. 4.7 said it ran out of tokens. 4.6 worked. I guess they throttle the advanced model? Can anyone confirm how these subscriptions work?

I don’t mean in terms of whether it will be there or not, though I appreciate that comes into play somewhat.

My point is that social security isn’t nothing - it can be some $3-5k per month for many people. That’s the equivalent of some $900k-$1.5mm at the 4% swr. How does someone looking to retire at 60 take this into account?

Let’s say you want to have $150k in annual earnings in retirement, and you’re going to retire at 60. That would suggest $3.75mm to meet the 4% swr. But really, you only need that for 2-10 years, depending on when you plan to start to collect. After that, let’s say you expect to collect $40k at 65, then you only need to cover $110k, which equates to $2.75mm. That’s a big difference.

And of course, there’s a whole host of variations depending on when you plan to start to collect, and even the theory on when you should start to collect - if the market is killing it, you should start collecting asap to leave more money invested, for example. Or if the market is doing horrible, you may decide to start collecting to avoid taking funds out at a low / loss.

Again, for these purposes let’s assume it’ll be there and the age ranges remain as they are currently. Thanks in advance.
