real madrid at home was never something i wanted to overthink. big quality gap, and these are the type of games they usually control from the start. arsenal was similar, low odds but it felt like a good leg to stabilize the slip.
liverpool away to villa is probably the biggest swing here. villa are tough at home, but liverpool in bigger matches usually create enough chances to win if they’re sharp. at those odds i felt it was worth taking.
united over forest is more of a trust the spot pick. not always pretty, but at home i still expect them to get the job done. everton too, mainly because they tend to play with more intensity in games like this and sunderland can struggle away.
then city over bournemouth is just backing quality. bournemouth can make games uncomfortable, but over 90 minutes i still trust city’s depth and control.
overall i didn’t build this trying to hit miracle odds, just stacked a few teams i realistically see winning their matches.
