Probably would have won a different way

PC had been bugging up for the past week, hard drive crapped on me, bought a new one, installed Win 11, that was my error, got the dreaded update issue of Windows freezing after an update and had to re-format the Nvmie Drive and install Win 10.

Back to playing Fortnite, had a slight hiccup with my Nvidia recording (that I have now fixed). Anyways, I probably wouldn't have won if my opponent hadn't decided to box up rather than buildfight (not that I am any good at buildfighting myself, for that matter). I am going to get questions on my loadout. Sorry, this is an Nvidia recording of a not-saved gameplay clip.

I didn't anticipate the win, so sharing as is.

Off to a really sweaty start after the update

It might not look like much via this short clipping, but man, the lobbies are swarming with sweats after the update, as to be expected. I fought for this win badly, working my way around the island.

Learning to appreciate the twin hammer shotties

Not as clean as some of the build rotations I am seeing on the sub. Working my way to fast building rotations. Somehow clutched the win by having this player press me. Took shotties to grab the win. These moments are so rare now, everyone has gotten so good.

Hopped on the NA servers, only stable servers atm.

I hadn't planned on making it to the last two standing players. I was practising my building edit rotations and was making my way around the island. Took down this guy with his loadout, who happened to have been my rival incidentally.

Got that sweet feeling of the first win in the season. For some reason, the post-party bug is still present. I couldn't get the clip to save to share.

This normally wouldn't be a Reddit post, but there was a time when a single spray of insect killer repellent would have been enough to kill mosquitoes instantly.

However, I have now noticed on several occasions that the mosquitoes in Nairobi take several direct sprays to be downed. Then I have to finish them off with a slipper to ensure the job is done effectively.

The rains are here, and pools of water are abundant everywhere, providing breeding ground for mosquitoes. Is there a new variant of pyrethrum-resistant mosquito that we aren't aware of?
