Geico sales calls are annoying and pervasive
I made the mistake of getting a Geico quote online. Now I get calls almost every day from their "independant agents" for the past 2 weeks. I don't answer so they leave voicemails. I called the corporate office and was told they do not make sales calls. Their "independent agents" do, but corporate cannot wipe my number from the "independent agent's" call lists because they are "independent". So Geico can sell or feed "independent agents" your phone number as a prospect but they do not have the ability to tell their "independent agents" to stop calling you every day once you complain to them. Seems like a one way street by design and choice but not because of any technical or business reason. I think they are using a lizard as bait and your are being phished for sales and not service.
