built a platform where people with invisible identities (ADHD, chronic illness, cultural background) can go from anonymous posts to real connections

I've been lurking on this sub for months and so many posts resonate with me. The "does anyone else..." posts, the work struggles, the relationship stuff. Every time I read one I think "I wish I could actually talk to this person."

But Reddit doesn't really work that way. You can comment, sure. But actually connecting with someone nearby who gets it? Building a real friendship with someone who understands ADHD from the inside? That doesn't happen here.

I've been trying something different lately. There's a site called Belong (ourbelong.com) where you can actually connect with people who share your experience — you start anonymous and gradually reveal more only when both sides agree. I found someone in my area who also has ADHD and we've been meeting for coffee every other week. It's been genuinely life-changing to have ONE person who gets it without me having to explain everything.

Not trying to sell anything — it's free. Just sharing because I know a lot of us feel isolated and wish we could go beyond reading posts. Anyone else feel this way?
