Downloading/ Saving Pictures

Hello, I am new to Firefox (switching from google chrome).

There is an imageboard site for a game I like and sometimes I like to save the pictures. When I was using Google, all I had to do was right click and choose "save as" and save the file to my computer.

Tonight I switched to Firefox to try out a new web browser, and when I try to save a picture from the imageboard there is no "save as" option. The closest option is "save page as..." which tries to save it as this html extension or something (instead of the png or jpg).

Is there an option or setting to allow me to save pictures using firefox?

Ive tried setting browser.altClickSave set to true and About:Config: dom.event.contextmenu.enabled to false.

Neither of these fixed the issue. I wonder why its working on chrome and not on firefox

note: i can actually save the image if i press alt, open tools, go to page info, go to media and scroll through all of the files until I find the image, but its like 30 extra fucken steps instead of being able to right click on the picture
