Why is mailroom processing so painfully slow? And it feels unnecessary.
Can someone explain the logistics of why mailrooms take so long to process packages? My fastest time to receive my package is 5 hours, and the slowest was 2 full days after delivery.
It would be way faster if we could just walk up to the service desk, give the staff our tracking number and ID, and let them find it in the back. What is the actual point of making us wait for hours, and days, for them to scan it into their own system first? Couldn't they scan it after we receive our package? Am I missing something here?
