walked by this earlier, very curious as to what animal and if i should go back to collect any

edit: i live in the suburbs, about an hour from chicago. i got off at a different bus stop than i usually do, but i guess no one ever gets off at those stops. it’s along a decently busy street, i assume people walk on the other side of it since the side i ended up getting off was overgrown with foliage.
