Where to plug in cameras?

Recently my Dahua NVR had a short circuit and is no longer working. I then learned the 8x Dahua PoE cameras (5.5W) are ONVIF capable and were adopted into Protect.

Should I directly plug the cameras and Viewport into my UDM SE or to the Pro Max 24 PoE switch?

Is there any advantage to plugging the cameras and the Viewport directly into the UDM SE's PoE ports instead of the Pro Max 24 PoE switch? Or does it make no practical difference as long as everything is on the same network?

NVR Three Red Flashing Lights

I have a NVR N41B2P2 with 8 cameras attached. This morning the cameras went offline and there is nothing on the display or on the App.

Does anyone know what is the reason for this to occur. I have attached video.

EDIT: THERE IS ONLY 1 FLASHING LIGHT WHICH IS THE POWER LIGHT. IT APPEARS TO BE ALL THREE BUT IT IS NOT.

Should we walk away?

We purchased a presale home in 2023 for $1,000,000 plus GST (no GST rebate/exemption applies to us). We have already paid a 10% deposit and are scheduled to complete at the end of this month.

We were pre-approved for an $850k mortgage at 3.64% fixed for 5 years. And the rest we have in cash. However, the lender recently completed an appraisal and determined the property's current value is only $830k.

The lender will only finance up to 80% of the appraised value, which works out to approximately $664k. As a result, there is now a shortfall of about $180,000 that the lender expects us to provide in cash, which we do not have.

The lender has not offered any alternative solutions so far.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What options should we be exploring at this stage? Would walking away from the deal be a reasonable option, understanding that we would likely forfeit our deposit and potentially face a lawsuit from the developer?

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
