This is my 2 year old lucky bamboo. As the seasons change and it gets hotter (i live in the desert) it's been tricky finding good indirect sunlight for this guy. The top leaves are okay but these bottom leaves have turned yellow and are curling up. I read a while ago that one should trim the yellow off their bamboo leaves but i haven't gotten almost fully yellow leaves like this before... It's in a glass vase that I pay attention to keep filled and semi-regularly change the water to completely new water (I only use distilled).

My questions are:

1. Is this okay to trim/pluck off?

2.) Does it look like the yellow is from too much sun?

Any advice would be wonderful 😊
