Ground cover options for shady backyard slope

I’m looking for guidance about full shade ground cover options for this sloped area of our backyard. The goal is to outcompete the english ivy that is trying to take over…

Ideally, I’m hoping to use native plants (zone 7B - Maryland) that support pollinators. I’m not sure if I want to blanket the whole area in one type of plant, or use the space to create a diverse, colorful pollinator ecosystem.

Wish list:
1 low maintenance
2 grows fairly quickly in full shade
3 grows close to ground
4 tolerates occasional foot traffic from dogs and kids

Would clover do well here?

Any suggestions welcome please!

Or would you recommend I scratch the plan outlined above and just mulch the whole area for this spring/summer season??
