is getting this removed worth it?

is getting this removed worth it?

i have these two keloids on my earlobe and they’re unsightly and i am a bit insecure about them (i usually keep them covered with my hair), but the thing is that they don’t really hurt. yes they do get a liiiiil itchy if i keep them pressed against something hard (for example: i sleep on my left side and sometimes sleep with my hand below my ear and that sometimes makes them a bit red and itchy). so they’re less about discomfort and more about insecurity.

a close friend of mine works at a derm and offered to schedule me in for a consultation and possibly even same day removal, but the thought of getting them removed scares me bc i am a big wuss when it comes to pain (and i’ve seen a LOT about excision, injections, etc.) and the keloids themselves are ~ 2 years old and are on the more hard side + i do also have two very small raised bumps on the back of my lobe directly behind these keloids.

i’ve been debating removal bc i am insecure about them, but they don’t cause any physical discomfort.

for those trying to lessen their c.ai use :D

I saw this device called a phone brick which locks certain app usage + the apps can only be unlocked if you tap ur phone on the brick and i essentially figured out how to dupe it. I used the foqus app and printed out a random QR code and set it as a c.ai blocker, so now i can’t access it without scanning the QR code (which i hid in my room). im now 30 hours without c.ai!!

i will say, i often felt the need to use the app, but i had hid the piece of paper in such an inconvenient location to the point where it makes it a hassle just to get it.
