IHS and ISC overlap- refund
Hello, one quick advice please.
I am currently on a 5-year Skilled Worker visa, and the Immigration Skills Charge (ISC) was already paid by my employer for the full 5 years. I still have around 2.5 years remaining on the visa.
I have now secured a promotion within the same organisation and will be issued a new CoS and visa. I wanted to understand:
What happens to the ISC already paid for the remaining overlapping period?
If a fresh ISC payment is required for the new CoS, how is the overlapping amount from the previous visa usually recovered or refunded to the employer?
Is the refund automatic to the sponsor, or does the employer need to apply separately?
I also have a question regarding the IHS refund process which affects me as an employee. The original IHS payment was made using a disposable virtual card which I no longer have access to. However, I do still have:
the IHS payment acknowledgement email and payment reference.
Once the new visa is granted, what would be the best way to proceed with recovery/refund of any overlapping IHS amount in this situation?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
TLDR - Promotion ISC and IHS overlap , card used for IHS not available anymore.
