Titano Flash Acetone Bath 2

Just an update to my previous post on pulling the blue wash off of a Titano Flash with Qtips to get back to the original red.
I have been taking my time as not to overdry the figure or get too deep into the plastic.

I’m doing light rinses in warm soap/water baths between stripping areas so as to denature the acetone applied so it doesn’t sit for too long.

Still not sure what I’m gonna use to reseal it. There are some areas that I accidentally over applied acetone that are now dull looking and need to be refinished.

I’m excited for the end result.

Titano Flash Acetone Bath

I’ve begun the process of removing he blue wash from the Titano Flash. Just using nail polish remover lightly diluted with water, I’ve been mainly using q-tips to dab off the blue wash.

Mainly taking single direction strokes and constantly turning away from the saturated side and regularly rinsing the stripped areas with Dawn soap and warm water.

I need to figure out a good sealant and best way to apply it.
I’m working on the limbs and body first, I’m really nervous to do the head.

I just want my scarlet speedster to be… not purple.

First Post: Super excited about the recent additions

The new lady kryptonians mixed with some recent figs make for fun poses.
I just moved and finally feel like I can take photos to post here and share with this awesome community of collectors.
