Do you continue to eat 2500+ after first period back?

Should I be returning to maintenance or is it a must to keep eating surplus? I know people say just continue what I have been doing, but is it a must? After 3 periods, do people suddenly stop eating as much or maintain that surplus?

Where can I find my Pomona id number?

Perhaps a silly question but I’m an upcoming student here and I am trying to apply to a cohort. I need my Pomona ID number but I am not sure where or what it is! I have an admission ID but I’m skeptical that it’s that. Please help me out, thank you very much! 🙏😅

Got my period today!

YES! I got my period back today :)!! I hope I can motivate anyone to continue period recovery and that it is worth it.

My last period was around March 20 2026 and after ACTUALLY committing to period recovery starting May 20 2026, it came back today! I was trying to hit 10k daily steps while on a HUGE cal deficit. I did try to recover a bit before but was still in a low deficit so I think really eating more carbs and fats and anything I really wanted helped. I’m still working on fixing mindset with food, but this is huge! If anyone has any advice on what I should do next, that would be great!

What are some things to look forward to at Pomona?

Incoming student here! Now that I’m about to graduate HS, it’s starting to hit me that I’m going to Pomona!! What are some things that I should look forward to? Anything at all! It could be Pomona specific or Claremont area in general since I haven’t explored to Claremont community too much. Additionally, what should I look into, such as programs, clubs, etc! Honestly, anything positive about Pomona, traits or experiences, I’d be happy to hear about. Thank you :D

Counting carbs and fats? Conflicted!

I recently started recovery and I wish I can just intuitively eat but I'm so desperate for my period that I'm trying to max out my carb and fat sources along with reach atleast 2500 cals. However, it has resulted in me tracking my intake of cals, carbs, and fats along with planning certain meals/snacks ahead of time (mentally and physically at times). I keep focusing on trying to reach atleast 200 g carbs and 60 g fat, hoping to max out the things I dedicate my cals to inorder to not overeat (I constantly feel bloated) and not delay recovery. I fear that not tracking will result in me undereating certain things but tracking would also lead to increase stress and bad habits when I do get my period back. Does anyone have any advice or guidance on my conflict?! Please let me know :) thank you.

Best bread brand for period recovery?

Best bread brand for period recovery? I have recently started period recovery and looking to increase my healthy carb intake! I had been eating Dave's Killer Bread Good Seed Organic Bread from Costco. I heard it has great nutrients but it has 15 grams of carbs, is that good compared to other bread? I thought 15 g was good for a slice but my friend said it was quite little in a bread source. Does anyone have another nutritious bread with more carbs that they found helpful for period recovery?

Side note: I eat other carb sources like oats, potatoes, rice, cereal, etc. I'm just tryna optimize my bread carbs cuz I love toast but don't wanna neglect carbs if I make it a big part of my diet. Respectfully, I'm new to this 😅Thank you :)

Did I actually lose my period? Conflicted

Hello -- I lost my period around 2 months ago. I'm not sure when it started but from this year (Jan-Late March when I lost my period) I had lost around 15-20 pounds, when I was tryna walk like 10k steps and be in cal deficit, usually under 1500 (sometimes 1200 at one point but I felt I only hammered down on this for less than 2 weeks)-- used to eat. BTW on a basis before deficit, I ate pretty unhealthy and prob around 2000 and maybe more sometimes (not sure I wasn't into counting and was a free eater). I'm not underweight -- I've been overweight my whole life and still is a bit rn. I've been tryna recover for the past month or so but I realized I wasn't actually committed (I tried reverse dieting and stayed away from rice and noodles) as I didn't eat as many carbs (tho lots of healthy fats) so recently I started eating rice and noodles and much more nuts and avocado and most importantly atleast 2500+. HOWEVER, I'm scared that I did NOT lose my period due to HA or PCOS or smmt and it might actually be something else -- aka I fear I'm eating this much and putting effort and concern into the wrong thing. Could it possibly be smmt else? Even so, should I still be eating 2500+ ?? It could be stressed, but I'm always stressed my whole life and never had an issue. Infact, I'm less stressed rn as school comes to an end..? I try not to eat added sugar and super processed food, but will eat some at times and have "cheat days" maybe thats it?

TLDR: Not sure if I actually lose my period due to undereating or have HA, so not sure if I need to be eating 2,500+. If it's because of another reason (like super stress, or mildly delayed of 2months), should I still be eating 2,500+ anyways?
