RHONJ - Jacqueline

I’m watching Real Housewives for the first time ever in chronological order instead of by franchise. So right now, I’m in the year 2013 and flipping back and forth between season 8 of RHOC and season 5 of RHONJ. Since I’ve never watched before, I’m kind of unaware of how people and episodes landed.

All that to say, I can’t stand Jacqueline Laurita. She is probably my most hated housewife of all the franchises at this point in time. She likes to stir up drama but then when she’s confronted, she’s such a baby like pretending to be asleep or refusing to go to a reunion. And I can’t believe Caroline Manzo treats her like she’s such a delicate flower. I’m just wondering if that’s generally how other people feel or if it’s an unpopular opinion.

Book Blanket

Last year, I decided to track my reading life in a new way. I crocheted this blanket in which each square represents a new book. The center color indicates whether the author was a man or a woman. The petals represent the genre, and the shade of green indicates the point of view. Many of them are identical. For instance, a memoir written by a woman is going to generate exactly the same color scheme. It was a really fulfilling project, and I hope you like it!
