How fucked am I?
Probably going to delete this in a day or two. I got pulled over two nights ago for turning left into a two lane road and going into the right lane. I have Armed Forces Vet plates and the cop knew I was drinking, but I played it off as an air freshener in my car. He played along. I have two DUIs under my belt, but it wasn't marked on the ticket (just improper lane switch?)
Anyway, I'm still on probation for 3 more months. I've been doing great. Paid a month in advance, actually. I'm actively taking the adult remedial driver course online. Seriously didn't know I needed to do that until the other week. I paid off all my shit, SR-22 insurance, all court ordered stuff until this last thing I just realized I needed and I'm getting it done before court (less than 2 week away).
I go to school full time and will be done in less than a year. My grades are pretty dang good. I regret drinking. I came from a friend's house who was helping me install dash cams. I might actually end it over this. 14 year vet. I have nothing left if I lose this chance at school.
ETA: forgot to mention my license is suspended from previous two DUIs, but like I said, I did what I thought was needed until I realized there was another requirement. I told the cop all of this immediately. It's all paid, just need the class which I have open in the Google window lol 😮💨
