ASIC interview ghost
I applied for a position with ASIC and had two interviews, a psychometric assessment and they called for references. The interviews went well and I felt like I answered their questions well. I have been in regular contact with the hiring manager by phone and email. However after the last interview, it’s been silent. I sent a follow up email after about a week politely enquiring about next steps in the process and if they need anything further from me. I left a voicemail with the hiring manager after two weeks. It’s now been 4 weeks and crickets.
For a federal government organisation with such a strict hiring process, I find it strange that there would be no contact at all. I assume I haven’t got the job, but at least let me know! It’s unprofessional and just plain rude. Has anyone else had an experience like this with ASIC?
