why is micromanagement rampant in indian workspaces?
to be honest, i know that NOT breathing down people’s neck all the time could lead to some (not most) of them to start taking advantage of the leniency. but that’s a risk in every work culture around the world.
i have worked in Oz and let me tell you that the locals there also start getting a little too complacent once they get comfortable. but yet there’s no micromanaging (at least not as much as in india).
just curious.
TIA
