Financial Aid processing
(Third term) Long story short I’ve completed my FAFSA 3+ months ago. Communicated with financial aid throughout my (2term) in an effort to avoid any hiccups. 3rd term starts 6/1/26 so on 5/5/26 I called & emailed about not seeing movement in my portal. (Processing) I’ve read the horror stories so I’ve been cautious and communicating. I was told over the phone everything was on track and not to worry. Fast forward to today 5/21/26 Still no progress so I call again. This time I’m told the system “skipped” my auto review and now I have to get a manual review. I expressed concerns via phone and email about the urgency of this processing due to housing. I was told nothing can be expedited until I register for my term on the first. I clarified asking if I filled out anything wrong and was told there’s nothing different I could’ve done & it’s on their end. The moral of the story is no amount of communication or diligence can prevent this apparently.
