So much pain
Hi all, really hate talking about this but this group doesn't feel judgemental. After years of severe depression, homelessness and just not looking after myself have finally caught up with me. My teeth were aching and then two days later there was a literal patch of gum missing from under my bottom two teeth. It's so raw, I can always feel it and as soon as I close my mouth my lips are touching it and the back of the teeth is receding too. I saw a dentist and confirmed severe peridontal disease (I also have really bad GORD which I'm told is likely a contributing factor to the damage) obviously I'm seeking treatment (Its damn expensive!!!) but is there anything I can do in the meantime? I'm trying to brush regularly but it's so painful and I'm using antimicrobial rinses but it's only been a few days of this and I'm already over it. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Sorry for the essay.
