Notice periods?!
Hello fairly new to education! So bear with me, at my work place we need to give 4 weeks notice. I am planning on going to university next summer. Again bear with me I have Autism so like to plan things very far in ahead. ( I’m a TA not a teacher if this helps)
I’m also doing an Access to Higher education course from the 17th of August 2026 to the 30th July 2027 online to get into uni.
Realistically I want to A- Get paid for August 2027, B- Tell my studnets before September and C- know my uni results before putting in my notice.
I was thinking I could just put two months notice in say July 1st- September 1st but unsure if this would work.
I believe I will get the results on the 30th July?
My last day of term next year is 31st of July 2027
So unsure as to when I need to put in my notice, yes I know it’s over a year ahead but I like to be organised!!
