Almost got scammed in bellandur

Hey guys, just need to vent about the absolute circus that house hunting in Bangalore has become.

Last week, I was hunting for a 2BHK near Bellandur. I found a gorgeous, suspiciously well-priced place right on the main road. The "owner" told me he was an ex-military officer currently posted out of state. He sounded crazy polite over WhatsApp, sent me high quality videos of the place, and said he just wanted a decent professional who would keep the place clean.
Then came the catch. He told me that because of strict society security rules, I couldn't even enter the gate for a viewing without a "tenant digital gate pass" or sum shit. He asked me to gpay him ₹50,000 to generate the barcode, promising it was 100% refundable the second I exist the gate.
When I told him I wasn't comfortable sending that kind of money before seeing the place, his tone completely changed. He started aggressively spam calling my WhatsApp, telling me I was wasting his time and losing the deal of once in a lifetime. I blocked him, feeling completely defeated and ready to just live out of my office lounge.
Long story short a security guard helped me get a place in HSR its not close to office but meh and the owner turned out to be a sweet elderly Kannada couple, the deposit was reasonable, and I signed the lease yesterday. They even brought me homemade idlis while we were doing the paperwork 😛

im currently in the second year of my undergraduate bcom degree in a private uni in india. my interests lie in marketing and business. but im unsure of what to do after i graduate as ive been thinking about it.
my 10th CBSE score- 81%
12th CBSE score(commerce)- 97.2%, 100/100 in accounts.
ive done 1 marketing internship in my first year

im pretty sure i would like to do an mba right after grad. i dont wanna work for a few years and then do an mba or anything like that. wanted to go abroad to do an mba but all the programs that are worth it require experience and im not sure i wanna spend crores for an mba abroad.

My math is very very weak. so i dont know if i wanna prepare for CAT and go to an iim. i dont think ill even be able to get into one because of my terrible score in 10th. my next option is GMAT and get into a non iim like SP Jain or something. I wont be able to crack CAT because of my weak maths and even if by some miracle i can i wont get in because of my 10th marks and my 10th marks will affect my placements also.

but what would you guys as my seniors suggest to someone like me keeping in mind my weak points?
