Can I make a Fade with this?
Can I actually pull off a mid/low/high fade with this Philips 9450/20, or do I absolutely need one of those clippers with that lever thing on the side?
As a total beginner, it’s honestly confusing as hell…
every tutorial I find relies on that shit lever and they never give actual millimeter numbers, they just talk about some random numbers/levels etc. and I’m completely lost. My plan is to use a guide band around my head, take the sides down to 0.5 mm with the Philips device, and just blend it out with it too.
Do I actually need one of those lever-clippers, or is that just for pros? I can't find a single tutorial for machines like mine, which can actually set precise millimeter lengths. Is it possible to get a clean fade without the lever?
Or does someone has a tutorial for me, which is using this kind of device?
