Power Automate limitations or other options
Hi, we have a project in the beginning stages of planning. Basically, the project is remaking an existing process where Power Automate Desktop creates Word docs/PDFs and Excels into SharePoint. They initially upload an excel file with data via email Power Automate validates it and emails back by highlighting fields in red when it fails (horrible), and then it calls the PAD when it succeeds and takes forever to process, as well as error logging is non-existent.
Instead, the plan is to move to Power Pages and use exceljs for the initial upload and validation. Then use Power Automate to process the files with the Encodian connector for PDFs into SharePoint.
The question here is this a viable method? There are multiple files made per row (2 Word Docs, 3 PDFs) and then there is a Excel and PDF made that summerises the information across all rows. And there can be over 1000 rows in a sheet some times.
I understand we can use concurrency and batching with child flows, but is this enough?
Do you have any alternative suggestions? Writing actual code is not an issue.
